For the birds . . .

Peter Johnson Interiors (01-4537088, peterjohnsoninteriors.ie) has a tweet way of brightening up your home.

It's a swathe of printed bird fabric by Pierre Frey Boussac, stretched and framed to create a wall canvas. The printed cotton percale, called Farandole Tintamarre Ville, has embroidery detail and features spring green tones. The whitewashed frame measures 115cm high by 250cm long.

It was €685. The first Bargain Hunter reader to call the shop at 60 Lombard Street West, Dublin 8, can buy it for €480.

Our favourite so far is the L37 pendant by Hans J Wegner Designer Hans J Wegner is considered one of the most creative and productive designers among Danish furniture designers. The Pendant is a true classic, designed to be height adjustable. A unique construction with a kind of handle as an integrated and attravtive part of the design enables the user to pull the lamp up and down without touching the shade.
